FIND YOUR WAY

EXISTING WEBSITES / A FRESH LOOK

Keep what works.
Fix what gets in the way.

Embercrest Digital Solutions helps small businesses rethink existing websites when the presentation, mobile experience or customer journey no longer fits. Share the current site and the problems you want to solve; the redesign starts with that context.

01 / WEBSITE REDESIGN

When a redesign is worth discussing.

An old design is not automatically a bad website. A more useful question is whether customers can understand your business and complete the next step. If your services have changed, the navigation has become confusing or the contact form is awkward on a phone, those are specific problems a redesign can address.

  • The website no longer reflects your current services or branding.
  • Visitors have to search through menus to find essential information.
  • Text, buttons or forms are difficult to use on phones and tablets.
  • Large assets or complicated page behavior make the experience feel slow.
  • Work examples, contact details or calls to action are unclear or out of date.

Describe the symptoms rather than assuming the whole site must be replaced. A content update or focused repair may be enough. A larger change to page structure, presentation and functionality belongs in a clearly defined redesign scope.

02 / WEBSITE REDESIGN

Understand the existing site before changing it.

Include the current website address in your quote request, along with what you want to keep and what is not working. Useful details include who uses the site, where inquiries should go and any forms, tools or integrations that matter to the business.

The proposal should make the boundary between retained content, revised pages and new functionality clear. Rebuilding a site is different from editing a few paragraphs, and third-party platforms can affect what is practical. Hosting, domains and paid services are identified separately where they apply, rather than assumed to be included.

Keep credentials out of the public quote form. Required access and handover arrangements can be discussed through an appropriate process once the project scope is understood.

03 / WEBSITE REDESIGN

Improve the path from arrival to inquiry.

Clearer presentation

Make service information, real work examples and contact details easier to understand. Update the design around the business you operate today, using your actual branding and content.

Responsive layouts

Reconsider text, navigation, images and forms across phone, tablet and desktop layouts. A site that looks good on a large screen still needs to be comfortable to use on a smaller one.

Performance and form flow

Address the agreed technical issues and check the inquiry flow before launch. Optimization is part of the published build packages; no specific score or increase in inquiries is promised.

Search-related details also need care when existing pages change. Describe any important current URLs or content in the inquiry so migration needs can be identified in the scope. A redesign should not make useful business information harder to find.

04 / WEBSITE REDESIGN

A redesign has its own scope.

Major redesigns are quoted separately from ongoing maintenance. The published website packages provide a starting point for discussing scope: Essential at $2,250, Growth at $3,250 and Advanced starting at $4,750. They are not automatic fixed prices for every existing website. The final proposal confirms the pages, features, dependencies and cost.

There is no single published completion time for every project. Share any business deadline, then use the planned launch date in the written quote. Standard website packages include two reasonable revision rounds unless the proposal specifies otherwise. Read the full pricing and payment terms.

05 / WEBSITE REDESIGN

Leave with a plan for the next update.

A redesigned website will still need accurate content after launch. Handover confirms site access, hosting arrangements and responsibility for changes. Optional maintenance plans define routine checks and included support time; they do not include unlimited development.

If you are starting without an existing site, see small-business website design. For local context, read about web design for Tacoma and Pierce County businesses. The FORME concept is available as an honest design example, clearly separated from commissioned work.

BEFORE WE START

Your questions.
Clear answers.

Can you update a site without rebuilding everything?

Content updates and maintenance are existing Embercrest services. Describe the problem and current site so the appropriate scope can be discussed; a full redesign is not automatically necessary.

Are redesigns included in maintenance plans?

Major redesigns, new pages and new functionality are quoted separately. Maintenance covers the checks and support allowance agreed in the chosen plan.

Will a redesign guarantee better Google rankings?

No. Clear content, technical SEO and performance work can improve the website’s foundation, but Embercrest does not promise search rankings or a particular volume of inquiries.
